The Evelyne bag was intended to hold the pick, brushes, etc. of tending to horses. The perforated H was worn facing the body to allow the air to circulate and allow the items to dry.
When relaased the bag was carried stirctly in the equestrian department as no one thought it would be carried as an every day bag. In the early 2000s’ the bag apeared in the leather good department – and the rest is history.
